Pic 42:    The anchors needed a bit of work. First, I thought the cross-pieces supplied were too thin, so I thickened them up with another strip of walnut across the top. Secondly, I found it impossible to bend the brass strip 100% accurately around the wood, so I made each brass 'hoop' in two pieces, needing only two bends and some tidying up with a needle file.
